How Much Will You Have to Pay for the Premium?

Some employers pay 100% of health benefits; others pay a defined amount per employee, and employees pay the difference if the plan they want is more expensive. (Most of the extra expense is due to family members added to the plan.)

The difference between a very good plan and a very bad plan for a single subscriber could be quite reasonable, especially if you are willing to pay higher co-pays. Don't automatically take the cheapest plan offered!
